Dalam membentuk kalimat biasanya adjective didahului oleh BE ( is, am, are etc ) .

Contoh :           Dia malas - She is lazy

                        Saya mengantuk – I am sleepy

                         Rizal dan Indri gemuk - Rizal and Indri are fat

                        Tas mahal – Bag is expensive

Susunan dalam membuat kalimat dalam bahasa Inggris minimal harus terdiri dari susunan

Subject + Verb

I  happy ( contoh salah )

Kalimat diatas kurang verb/kata kerja sehingga kalimat diatas seharusnya menjadi
